Development and Production Norway (DPN) is, an operator and partner on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS); responsible for managing the NCS resources in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner; to create value for our owners, suppliers and the people of Norway. Equinor has today a solid position on the NCS. We have fields of all sizes, from giants such as Troll, Statfjord and Gullfaks, to small fast-track projects tied to existing infrastructure. Equinor's ambition is to ensure at least 60% recovery from the NCS. Our products are marketed and sold on the global market, and our production has made Norway one of the world's leading oil and gas exporters. Our top priority is safe, efficient and sustainable operation to pursue our long-term profitable production from the NCS.

Integrated Operation Centre (IOC) is a central initiative in Equinor's Digital Road Map. IOC is organizationally a part of Development and Production Norway's Operational Technology business unit (DPN OTE). The purpose of IOC is to accelerate three main business drivers:
- digitalization
- implementation and operationalization of digital technologies such as machine learning
- continuous improvement of energy and production optimization and predictive maintenance

IOC is responsible for condition monitoring of selected equipment for all DPN assets and for assets in other Business Areas upon agreements. IOC will integrate external suppliers in the eco system, where this is natural, based on a business case evaluation of each case. IOC is also delivering proactive business support within energy and production optimization by streaming sensor data from wells, processes equipment and machinery through Equinor's new cloud-based data platform Omnia. Omnia is central in the work towards external suppliers and builds on Microsoft Azure. IOC builds visual tools by combining many types of data to deliver faster and better business support to the operational units/assets. IOC is established with unique departments for:
- New Development
- Energy and Low Carbon
- Production Optimization
- Predictive Maintenance

Scope of work responsibility for the Advisor Digitalisation and Supplier Integration: from pre-qualification of potential suppliers to be integrated in the IOC business model to technical contract management and supplier performance. All with strong relations and interfaces with other business areas in Equinor such as Procurement, Global Business Solutions (GBS) and the Digital Centre of Excellence. The Advisor will lead the supplier integration improvement agenda in IOC, short and long term. The Advisor will work closely with, and for, the department heads in IOC. The Advisor will report directly to Head of IOC.

Job Description

- In cooperation with IOC Department Heads, discipline responsible in other OTE Units and other Business areas, identify ambitions and opportunities for a digital supplier integration roadmap for IOC, short and long term.
- Support IOC in defining and applying methods and best-practice within digitalisation and supplier integration connected to the IOC operational model.
- Identify actions and recommend prioritization to close systems and technology gaps.
- Work closely with the department heads in IOC and others, inside and outside Equinor, to proactively support IOC in best practice discussion. Recommend and take ownership for needed specific set of process improvements together with the IOC departments and other OTE business clusters.
- Contribute towards developing, improving and assuring quality on governing documentation connected to IOC in general and supplier integration in particular. Proactively suggest areas of improvement within governing documentation and act as an advisor to the professionals responsible for the governing documentation within IOCs main responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of the industry in general and digitalisation in particular
- Capacity to identify business opportunities within digitalisation connected to IOC's field of responsibility and ability to design and support the IOC Departments towards better Supplier Integration
- Ability to interact with stakeholders and drive them towards the change agenda
- Must be able to build good internal and external networks
- Leader experience preferred
- Minimum a bachelor's degree; master's degree or PhD preferable
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience required
