Orkla Group Procurement consists of around 145 procurement professionals. The two main parts of this organization are the Category teams and the Business Unit teams. The Category teams has the main objective to realize cross-company sourcing synergies both with regards to cost and innovation. As such they are overall responsible for Orkla's commercial processes and relations in the sourcing markets. The Business Unit teams are company-based teams responsible for the procurement interface to each individual company, hereunder focusing on sourcing implementation, cost development, secure supply and innovation support.

You will report to the Raw Material Procurement Manager in the Orkla Group Procurement Business Unit team of Orkla Foods Norway. As one of Orkla's largest Business Units, Orkla Foods Norway is a leading supplier to the Norwegian retail market with over 1.300 employees working with very strong brands in several product categories like pizza, ketchup and ready meals. Location is at the Orkla Foods Norway head office in Skøyen, Oslo. The position is temporary for one year and we see great opportunity for the right person to be able to stay within Orkla.

The role

You will join the raw material procurement team dedicated to Orkla Foods Norway. The team is the anchor point for raw material procurement activities related to this company. The objective is to optimize the total cost of supply through continuous improvement together with the category teams while at the same time work close with the business unit to ensure a stable supply chain and successful innovations. Your role will be to work with selected raw material categories in which you will be responsible for the associated cost development, cost improvement implementation, innovation support and master data maintenance in our ERP-system. To be successful you will establish a very strong connection to, and collaboration with, the Orkla Group Procurement category teams and key stakeholders in Production, Sales, Finance and Product Development within Orkla Foods Norway.

Key responsibilities

Specific responsibilities for this position include - but are not limited to:

• Manage and coordinate procurement projects, mainly focusing on testing and implementing new suppliers and/or materials.
• Support Category lead sourcing processes and ensure timely and correct implementation of the outcomes.
• Provide high quality input on selected categories in the Cost development and Price management processes.
• Lead and solve supplier related disruptions in your supplier portfolio in collaboration with relevant functions in Orkla Group Procurement and Orkla Foods Norway.
• Ensure that procurement of your raw materials is at competitive conditions and acceptable risk level within Orkla's framework agreements and continuously improve these agreements with the suppliers.
• Maintain supplier related data in the different systems in Orkla (ERP, Contract management, Approval- and Re-approval) for specific categories.
• Coordinate and support processes and projects where Procurement input is crucial.

Your qualifications

• 0-4 years of experience of sourcing and project management, preferably within the production industry and/or from a branded consumer goods leader.
• Previous experience within procurement, supply chain and/or FMCG is preferable.
• Excellent people and communication skills
• M.Sc./MBA degree -- preferably in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written
